Stew or Scotch Broth

water

  Cut up vegetables

  3 or 4 Potatoes

  2 Carrots

  3 stalks Celery 

  Rutabagas ( I don’t add this)

  Cabbage (I don’t add this)

  1 onion

  2 garlic cloves

  Can of corn and liquid

  Can of green beans and liquid

  Split peas ( I don’t add this)

  28 oz. can or 1 qt. whole tomatoes 

  Barley

  Dried veggie chunks

  George Washington broth

  Simmer for a few hours and serve.
