Kristy’s Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup chopped dates

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into 3 small or 2 large greased loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Bread will slice better if served the following day. Freezes well. Yields 3 small or 2 large loaves.
