Popcorn Balls
Make tiny balls, wrap in plastic wrap and hand on the Christmas tree.
Ingredients
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/3 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
¼ c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
14 c. popped corn (hot air)Combine syrup, water, sugar, salt and butter in buttered 4-cup glass measure. Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave on “roast” for 8 minutes. Stir and continue cooking on “roast” for 4 minutes. Stir and continue cooking on “roast” for 4 -4 ½ minutes or until candy forms a hard ball in cold water. Stir in vanilla. Pour in then stream over popped corn in large buttered bowl; mix well. Butter hands and shape into balls.
